We begin our mornings with an Italian breakfast of delicious cakes, cereals, villa-made yogurt, fresh juice, coffee (of course!) and eggs made to order by Chef Jimmy. Mornings, classes are held at the villa in our own lovely glass enclosed studio surrounded by the Umbrian hillside. After a delicious lunch, afternoons are "instruction optional" working 'en plein air' if you desire. Our day-trip will delight, as we travel comfortably to nearby hillside villages. Each year we look for local celebrations and markets and have, in past years, enjoyed the of Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, the traditional ceramics of Deruta and the lively market of Gubbio. Accommodations
 In the picturesque hillside between Perugia and Gubbio, Locanda del Gallo is the ideal place to recharge and renew, walk a quiet path or visit nearby medievial towns. Enjoy healthy food (80% organic!) rich in genuine flavor: cold pressed olive oil; aromatic herbs; and home baked bread and cakes. Special diets are graciously accommodated. Furnished comfortably in Oriental style, the faithfully restored 12th century villa is the perfect place to inspire you. Guests can taxi to the local villages, arrange a cooking class or wine tasting, partake of the peaceful gardens dotted with sunlounges, or relax in the Jacuzzi and sauna on the astonishingly beautiful pool terrace.
